1. Who we are
Zweka Technologies Ltd (“we”, “us”, “Zweka”) operates the Zweka website, apps and related services (the “Platform”) from Lagos, Nigeria, Federal Republic of Nigeria.
We provide software and escrow-style payment coordination between buyers and sellers. Unless we expressly sell an item as principal, we are not the seller of third-party listings and do not take title to goods listed by users.
2. Mission
Zweka exists for goods that need to move: items people would rather clear, trade, or give away than leave gathering dust. We focus on local, escrow-protected trades rather than competing as a giant catalogue of everything.
3. How Zweka works
- Sellers verify identity before publishing live listings.
- Buyers pay through the Platform where the mode requires payment.
- We instruct our payment partners to hold funds until confirmation or a dispute outcome.
- Chat stays on the Platform; phone numbers are masked until payment rules allow reveal.
- Courier or meetup options are chosen per order where available.
4. Listing modes
- Deal — clearance priced to move, with optional offers.
- Auction — short timed auctions with proxy bidding and anti-snipe close.
- Swap — trade goods (with optional cash top-up).
- Giveaway — genuinely free; the giver chooses among applicants.
5. Trust & safety
