Zweka Technologies Ltd
Billing policy
How Zweka charges fees, sells coins, pays sellers, and handles billing records.
· Governing law: Federal Republic of Nigeria
1. Prices shown to buyers
Listing prices are set by sellers in naira. Where Platform fees apply at checkout, we aim to show an all-in amount before you pay. Auction and offer flows show the amount you authorise before confirmation.
2. Service fees
- Completed deals may attract flat and/or configured service fees on buyer and/or seller sides as displayed at checkout or in seller tools.
- Fee schedules may change; the amount shown for a given checkout controls that order.
- Escrowed goods payments are collected to Platform-controlled processor accounts and released per order rules — not split to sellers on capture.
3. Coins
- Coins are prepaid credit for Platform features (e.g. certain offers, boosts).
- Coins are one-directional: buy with naira → spend on services → no cash-out.
- Coins cannot buy goods from other users and are not transferable between users.
- Naira equivalent is shown alongside coin prices; rates are not applied retroactively to past purchases.
- Consumed coin spends are generally non-refundable except where required by law or a Platform error.
4. Promotions and boosts
Paid placement is sold at the quote shown in seller tools for a stated duration. Once a boost has started to run, fees are typically non-refundable. Boosting inactive/sold listings may be blocked in product.
5. Seller payouts
- Payouts go to verified payout accounts in the seller’s name after release conditions are met.
- We may delay payouts for disputes, risk review, or legal holds.
- Processor and bank timelines apply after we initiate payout.
6. Records and invoices
Order histories, coin purchases and fee lines are available in your account where implemented. Request billing copies from support@zweka.ng.
7. Failed and retry payments
If a charge fails (insufficient funds, bank decline), the order or auction win may be cancelled or offered to the next bidder per mode rules. You authorise retries where the product discloses them.
8. Taxes
Sellers are responsible for their own tax obligations on sales. Prices are generally shown inclusive or exclusive of tax as stated in checkout; we may withhold or report where law requires.
